We not only tax plan at year end, but also during the year. After reviewing your financials, we periodically analyze and perform comparison analysis to determine strategies that will benefit you. We also communicate with you to be privy about any significant life or business changes that will impact your taxes. Tax Preparation:

  • We prepare taxes for Individuals, LLCs, Corporations and Partnerships.

  • We encourage timely estimated tax payments and file extensions if necessary.

Guidance for tax preparation ease:

  • Collect Important Documents: Gather essential documents such as W-2 forms, 1099 forms, investment statements, and records of deductible expenses. Gather bank statements, trial balances and/or financial statements that show the company activities.

  • Organize Your Expenses: Keep track of business expenses, home office expenses, and any other deductions you may be eligible for. Staying organized will make tax preparation much easier. Note any large significant purchases throughout the year.

Checklist of essential documents and information you may need:

  • Social Security number(s), birth date(s), and identification documentation for yourself, your spouse, and dependents.

  • W-2 forms for employment income, 1099 forms for freelance or contractor income, and statements for investment income.

  • Records of deductible expenses such as mortgage interest, educational expenses, medical bills, charitable contributions, and any eligible tax credits.

  • Documentation of health insurance coverage, including Forms 1095-A, 1095-B, or 1095-C.

  • If you own a home, gather documents related to mortgage interest, property taxes, and any home improvements.

  • Education Expenses: Records of payments for tuition, student loans, or other education-related expenses.

  • Childcare Expenses: Documentation of payments and provider information for childcare expenses.

  • State and Local Taxes: Documentation of any state and local taxes paid, such as property taxes or estimated tax payments.
